Matters Arising from Steering Group of 4 March

Priory Playground - This is school ground, not a public right of way.

BOAT 401 - In this weeks papers.  Surfacing money has been put aside.  Work won’t progress until after the “cows” season (??), but before the wet season.  A best estimate at this seems to be Sept or Oct.  David Hitchcock from Tandridge is overseeing this.

Twinning Association - The decision was made not to rejoin.

Reigate to Merstham Community Route - This is part of the Strategic Route to extend the Community Cycle Route (Blue signs and White lines).  It will be presented at the Local Committee on 19th April.  DH has checked the route and will continue to be the Forum contact.

DH

A25 Route Management Study - JM updated the Forum on Mole Valley’s views on this.  Dorking to Reigate cycle paths are being considered a priority by the councils however MVCF feel that Dorking to Westcott and Ashcombe to Brockham are in far greater need.
